We’re in this together. You know where you want to go and our job to help you get there. Together, our collaborative partnership will enable you to achieve your goals.
I am passionate about helping organizations be successful. So let’s connect and talk about how Real World Marketing can help you.
MY BACKGROUND
I have more than 15 years’ experience working with large and small organizations to solve business and marketing challenges. My career journey has taken me many places – I have worked in both Canada and the US for many types of organizations, including local retailers, national non-profits and international technology companies. Some highlights of my career include:
- Creating and executing marketing, communications and branding strategies as Director of Marketing at US Eventing Association – which included website design and content, e-newsletters, videos, public relations and sponsorship.
- Managing industry marketing programs focused on lead generation and sales enablement at three of Canada’s largest software companies (Fulcrum Technologies, JetForm and Cognos) – incorporating direct mail, advertising, events and online content.
- Working with several specialty retailers to develop marketing strategies to build brand awareness, increase customer reach and drive traffic to website and retail stores – through online content, email, advertising and social media.
- Serving on the board of a non-profit, Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition, where I led development and execution of marketing plans, aimed at recruiting and retaining members and sponsors, and provided strategic direction on long-term organizational plans.
In addition, I have run my own photography business, HoofPrints Photography, for more years than I care to count. I photograph horses all over the world and have attended many major competitions, including the Olympics. My work has been used in advertising and published in a variety of magazines and online publications.
Outside of work, I love getting outdoors, whether it is hiking the local hills, skiing badly or snowshoeing with my dog. And I am still hooked on horses and ride whenever I get the chance.
